Our Story

How it all started...

On October 19, 2019, while fishing on the shore of a lake in Canada, Pastor Kelly Yore felt the Lord give him a vision for a church unlike anything he had been part of before. He knew what God was showing him was for the future, but he didn't yet know when that future would come.

The vision began to take shape when his wife, Cali, called him one day and said, “I think I’m ready.” When Kelly asked what she meant, she replied, “Ready to plant this church.” Cali had seen a vision of what would become Victory's sanctuary, filled with the presence of God. At the time, however, it was nothing more than a storage room behind a local coffee shop, with torn carpet, holes in the walls, and boxes of supplies. The room pictured here would soon become Victory’s first sanctuary.

What they could not yet see with their eyes, they believed God had already shown them. Soon, God began bringing together a team of people, one by one, who would help turn that vision into what became Victory Church.

Hear Our Story

The story of Victory is a testimony of what God can do when ordinary people simply say yes.

Where we're going...

Victory has never been about building something for ourselves. From the beginning, our desire has been to see people encounter Jesus, find a place to belong, grow as disciples, and discover how God can use their lives to reach others.

We believe what God began in a back room is still growing. As Victory grows, our heart remains the same: to build a healthy, Spirit-filled church that loves its community, raises up disciples and leaders, strengthens families, and carries the gospel beyond the walls of our church.

We believe the best chapters of Victory's story are still ahead.
